Good 7 and 9 MHz propagation in the early afternoon

I was in the Olinda Forest, 35 km east of Melbourne, on Saturday Dec 19 2009, doing some bushwalking near the Olinda Creek.

I did some propagation research on 7 and 9 MHz using the little Eton E5 and 5 m of antenna in the window 0300 to 0430. Good signals included many from Asia, Middle East, USA. and Europe.
