Monitoring Research in 13 MHz band

Melbourne!
 
There is a lot of activity in the 13 MHz band in the Melbourne afternoon
period, 0400 to 0500, dominated by longpath signals from Europe, Middle East
and Africa, and shortpath transmissions from Asia.

This summary was made on November 24, 2010, from a field monitoring site in
the Jumping Creek Reserve, Warrandyte State Park, 25 km east of central
Melbourne, using the Eton E5 and 3 m antenna.
