Monitoring Research 9 MHz and 11 MHz

Good propagation continues during the Melbourne early afternoon on 9 MHz and
11 MHz, with strong longpath signals from Europe, Africa,and the Middle
East, and shortpath from Asia and the Americas.

Solar activity is still very low - 10.7 cm solar flux is 91, the SSN is 36.

This is a summary of observations on January 5, from a field site at the
Jumping Creek Reserve, Warrandyte State Park, 20 km east of central
Melbourne.

Tinme window was 0245 to 0300.
