Monitoring Notes - 9 MHz band - early evening in Melbourne

There is continued exciting 9 MHz propagation into Melbourne in our early
evening window, 0800 to 0900, represented by a plethora of shortpath signals
from Asia and the Americas, and long path from Europe/ME/Africa.

Solar activity, as advised by the IPS in Sydney, is now categorized as
"low", with the 10.7 cm solar flux hovering around 130, and the daily SSN at
79.

This is a summary of key occupancies between 0800 and 0900 on December 15
