Propagation excellent

Solar activity continues to be indicated as "very low" according to the Department of Space Services in Sydney, with the 10.7 cm solar radio flux having dropped to 110, and the daily equivalent SSN down to 60.

So, not much long-haul multi-hop propagation into Melbourne over darkness or semi-darkness paths above about 12 MHz.

Despite that, with winter about to start in one day, good propagation in our mid-afternoons on 6 MHz from the Americas, Middle East, Europe and Africa.

This is a summary of key occupancies observed on May 28 between 030 and 0600 from on of my favourite field monitoring locations in the Warrandyte State Park, in the heritage gold mining precinct at Fidler Gully, 15 km east of central Melbourne.
