I was in this large Park on March 20 2013, in Melbourne's SE, and set up the Eton E5 with a 2 m antenna in the main picnic area, about 100 m from the 660,000V transmssion lines!
Some good signals on 9 MHz and 11 MHz in the window 0315-0330, despite powerline noise!
