Good sigs in our mid-afternoon window from a location in West Gippsland, at the crossing of the Cardinia Aqueduct Trail and Thewlis Rd, 60 km east of central Melbourne.
These observations were made in the 0415 to 0445 window, using the midget
featherweight Kaide 10-band radio, which is about the same size as a Smartphone!
The research was to support a review of this radio, to be published
shortly.
This radio is available for less than AU$9 from Hong Kong - operates from
two AA batteries.
These are Selected entries only - antenna was a 3 m random wire about 2 m
above the ground, tossed into a gum tree!
