High up on the slopes of Mt Donna Buang today, channel occupancy in the 9 and 11 MHz bands was very high in in the early afternoon, 1 pm local. This was dominated by long path transmissions from Europe, Middle East and Africa, and short path from Asia and the Americas.
The monitoring site was in East Warburton, at an access point on the O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail, some 70 km east of Melbourne.
This a summary of selected observations, in the time span 0300 to 0330, 1 pm local.
