Excellent propagation in the Melbourne mid-winter early afternoon of Jun 30, 2015, on 6, 7, and 9 MHz.
The dominant transmission mode was long path, from Europe, Africa and the Middle East, and short path from the Americas.
This summary of occupancies was made on the banks of the Yarra River, in the outer eastern semi-rural suburb of Warrandyte, in the Pound bend Picnic Reserve.
The receiver was the little Eton E5, with 2 metres of random antenna tossed into a bush!
Time span was 0400 to 0430 (2 pm local).
