Shortwave Challenge!

Shortwave Challenge!

Very low levels of solar activity continue, meaning that the available "propagation windows" for frequencies above about 13 MHz have been compressed for long-haul multi-hop transmission paths crossing darkness or semi-darkness regions.
.
The challenge is to determine the optimum window for your location for the higher frequency bands!

Here in Melbourne, the 9 MHz band currently is "open" for the full 24 hours, yielding many chances for orderly analysis and research into frequency usage

This is a summary of notable occupancies between 2230 and 2300 on March 1, 2017.
