I was intrigued this morning at the appearance of a rare short-path night-time opening on 15 MHz, between 1800 and 1900, for signals originating in Europe and the Middle East .
This sort of propagation should not really happen during periods of very low solar activity (such as is now occurring during Solar Cycle 24!)
