Despite the "high" rating for solar activity, this was not represented by any increased action on frequencies above 14 MHz in the 1900-2000 window, In fact, there was only ONE signal audible, NHK's Japanese service on 15130 from the Issoudin (France) relay with a super signal in French!
The MUF/OWF on both short and long paths from Africa/ME/Europe was about 14 MHz, with the NHK service being the exception!
