HF Reception in Melbourne!

 

Some splendid propagation this afternoon, Jun 2 2015, at a field site in the Warrandyte State Park, in Melbourne's outer east.

 

We are now some 20 days before shortest day is upon  us, and daytime propopagation is are now exhibiting winter-like patterns!

 

Between 0400 and 0430, the 6,  7, 9, and 11<MHz spectrum was very active, revealing long path signals from Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, and short path transmissions from  Asia and the Americas.
