The A14 Transmission Season has started, and frequency occupancies, as anticipated, now look vastly different to the now-expired B13 season!
Here in Melbourne, the 11 MHz band was packed out between 1800 and 1830, our local time 5 am to 5.30 am, with short-path (darkness) signals dominating, from Europe, Arica, Middle East, and Asia.
This is a summary of key occupancies across that time-span, on April 2 2014. Most of these entries refer to "New Frequencies", meaning frequencies which were not in use at the indicated time span during B13.
