The A17 Transmission started on March 17, 2017, and several hundred frequency changes have been introduced for international broadcasters.
There has been a massive migration to the lower frequencies for long-haul multi-hop propagation on frequencies below 14 MHz across darkness or partial darkness paths, due to continuing very low solar activity as Sunspot Cycle 24 passes through its final phase.
This is is a summary of notable frequency occupancies as intercepted here in Melbourne on March 29, 2017, between 1900 and 2000, dominated by short (darkness) path transmissions from Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
