As the end if the World happened in a couple of days, I thought that I's share some monitoring notes with you, which will most likely be looked at in 1000 years time in a place far, far, away ...

 

I was in the Warrandyte area yesterday, so went up to Fifth Hill to my favourite field monitoring site adjacent to the Fiddler Gulley, during the early afternoon.

 

The Summer Daytime Asian HF Mode was prominent on 9 MHz, 11 MHz, and 13 MHz in the window 0300 to 0400.

 

This is a summary of what happened in that window, with good long path signals from Europe, Africa, and Europe, and short path from Asia and the Americas. The Brazilian Antarctic Short-path Mode was also apparent on 11 MHz.
