The Sun rose this morning, as planned, and there was good propagation on the 25 mb in the window 1930 to 2000. These signals were of interest to the author:
11865 RWANDA DW-Kigali Portuguese
11875 FRANCE RTI-Issoudin French
11890 ASCENSION BBC Hausa*1930
11985 ARMENIA VOR–Yerevan Arabic
12015 N. KOREA VOK Spanish
12045 S. AFRICA DW-Meyerton Portuguese *1930
This reception pattern applies ONLY to Melbourne and spectrum occupancy at other locations, in this time window, whether in Australia or elsewhere., will be quite different.
A reminder that the A13 Transmission Season starts on March 31, so be warned, as overall frequency usage will be substantially reduced, as HF broadcasting continues to contract.
Note also that the March Equinox is nearly with us, which brings with it a whole spate of propagation variations.
