This is a NEW Facebook Group administered by Bob Padula OAM, of Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is a Message Board for anyone with a Facebook account, wishing to share their experiences, knowledge, and interests in shortwave radio reception. This can include, but is not limited to reception loggings, QSLs, propagation research, solar/geophysical activity, schedules, receivers, antennas, receiving devices, spectrum studies, frequency planning/monitoring, transmission technology developments, future trends.
Historical information is also welcome, relevant to the development. and evolution of shortwave broadcasting, as well as personal details of the form "My first SW radio","My first SW QSL", "My favourite SW station", etc! The future of shortwave radio clubs would also be a useful theme for discussion.
Sharing simply means posting of original messages to the Group, or commenting on, liking, or seeing members' posts.
PLEASE NOTE --- the Group does NOT cover amateur radio, mediumwave, longwave, VHF, TV, utility transmissions, or internet reception via remote receivers.
