11 MHZ PROPAGATION NOTES
Good signals on 31 and 25 metres this morning (Jan 19 local) here in Melbourne post sunrise, 1900 to 1930 from all continents, mixed shirt and long path modes.
Of note was Adventist World Radio's broadcast in the Wolof language. This is a language of Senegal, the Gambia, and Mauritania, and the native language of the Wolof people. Like the neighbouring languages Serer and Fula, it belongs to the Senegambian branch of the Niger–Congo language family. Unlike most other languages of Sub-Saharan Africa, Wolof is not a tonal language.
