MONITORING FROM WARRANDYTE STATE PARK

 

Super results in the mid-afternoon period on December 6 2014 from the Pound Bend Reserve, on the Yarra, Warrandyte State Park.

 

Notable signals across the 0330 to 0430 time span included the first Daytime Mode signals noted this summer on 9 MHz from Asia;  very big long path signals from Europe, Middle East and Africa on 9 MHz, 11 MHz, and 13 MHz and shortpath from the Americas.

 

This was with the little E5 receiver, with two metres of antenna 1 metre high! Don't need a glitzy $3000 rig with synthesizer frequency readouts to 100 decimal places...!
