SHORTWAVE MONITORING NOTES OF EXTREME INTEREST, MAY 17 2015
THAILAND
BBC-Nakorn is now using DRM for its World Service in English, intended for India, 1400 to 1800. Is on nominal 5845, 150 kW. Big signal here in Melbourne. This is also being announced by the BBC at top-of-the-hour. It's believed that this is a service primarily for rebroadcasting by All India Radio domestic transmitters, as AIR has recently commissioned many DRM receivers at its regional sites.
