MONITORING RESEARCH - 9 MHZ SPECTRUM

 
Very low levels of Solar Activity continue, causing unreliable propagation on frequencies above about 15 MHz on long-haul multi-hop paths across darkness or semi-darkness zones.
 
The 9  MHz band is represented by high occupancy during the evening period in Europe, the Middle East and Africa – this summary shows usage monitored here in Melbourne on August 21 2015 across the 1930-2000 time span, for transmitters located in Africa and the Middle East.
