This is a summary of reception notes of July 7 2014, at a field monitoring site in the Warrandyte State Park, at Fidler’s Gully, Pigtail Track, in Melbourne’s outer east. This location is in the Heritage Gold Mining Precinct - no nuggets now, only tailings, old shafts, and quartz outcrops!
This was mid-afternoon, mid-winter, in the time span 0500 to 0530.
The focus was on the 22, 16 and 13 mbs, using the Eton E5 receiver and a 5 m random wire tossed into the bushes.
