Interesting propagation on 11 MHz and 3 MHz during the mid-afternoon window on December 11, 2013, at one of my favourite Field Monitoring sites in the Warrandyte State Park, on Fifth Hill, near Fiddlers Gully in Melbourne's outer east.
Many long path sigs from Europe, Middle East, Africa, and short path from Asia and the Americas.
Increased usage noted in the upper reaches of the 13 MHz spectrum, from 13800 to 13860, as well as BBC activity from Madagascar and Rwanda, as well as the usual array of transmissions from China.
This is the summary, using the Eton E5 and two metres of random antenna, between 0345 and 0430.
